Computer Innovation 6016
November 30-December 3, 2005, Beijing, China

The year 2005 is the 60th anniversary of the invention of modern computer,
as well as the 30th anniversary of the invention of PC. China Computer
Federation is to host an international meeting called "Computer Innovation
6016", to celebrate our profession (pending in cooperation with ACM, IEEE
Computer Society, and IFIP).
The theme of this event is to reflect on the most significant milestones
and innovations of our profession in the past 60 years, and to
forecast/discuss the trends in the next 16 years. The scope of the event
will cover technology, market, and education.
Computer Innovation 6016 will feature invited speeches, roundtables, an
industrial forum, press/public activities, three technical conferences,
and an exhibition.
Invited Speeches
Computer Innovation 6016 will invite international experts, from both
academia and industry, to share their insights on past history and future
trends of computer technology innovations, computer education, market and
social impacts.
Roundtables
Computer Innovation 6016 will host three roundtables:
Round Table on Computer Innovation Trends
Round Table on Computer Education
Round Table on IT for the Mass
Industrial Forum
Computer Innovation 6016 will host a one-day industrial forum to allow
vendors to showcase their latest technology.
Press/Public Activities
As a historical event, Computer Innovation 6016 will host a number of
press and public interaction activities to connect the computer profession
with our society. Both domestic and international press/media will be
invited to participate in this event. Planned activities include a press
conference, media interviews, special issues on trade publications, an
edited book, and students participation.
Technical Conferences
Computer Innovation 6016 will include three international technical
conferences:
- The 8th International Conference on High-Performance Computing in
Asia-Pacific Region (HPC-Asia 2005)
- The 4th International Conference on Grid and Collaborative Computing
(GCC 2005)
- The 2nd IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing
(IFIP NPC 2005)
Exhibition
A commercial/research exhibition will be the highlight of Computer
Innovation 6016. An exhibition space of 1500 square meter is reserved for
vendors, users, and researchers of computer technology, both domestic and
international.

HPC-Asia 2005
The 8th International Conference and Exhibition on
High-Performance Computing in Asia-Pacific Region
November 30-December 3, 2005, Beijing, China

HPC ASIA is an international conference series held every 18
months on an Asia-Pacific regional site. It provides a forum for
HPC researchers, developers, and users throughout the world to
exchange ideas, case studies, and research results related to all
issues of high performance computing. The last seven conferences
were held in Taipei in 1995, Seoul in 1997, Singapore in 1998,
Beijing in 2000,Australia in 2001,India in 2002,and Tokyo in 2004.
In addition to contributed technical papers,HPC Asia 2005 will
include keynote addresses, invited/plenary speeches, panel
discussions, workshops, poster presentations and industrial track
presentations.A commercial/research exhibition will be the highlight
of HPC Asia 2005.
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts of original unpublished
research work in all areas of high performance computing,including
the development of experimental and commercial systems. Relevant
topics include(but are not limited to) the following:
*System Architecture and Models for HPC
*System Software for HPC
*Algorithms and Applications for HPC
*Performance Evaluation and Productivity
*Grid Computing
Technical Paper Submission Instructions:
Authors are invited to submit papers of no more than 8 pages of
double column text using single spaced 10 point size type on 8.5x11
inches papers, as per IEEE 8.5x11 manuscript guidelines (see
http://www.computer.org/cspress/instruct.htm). Authors should submit
a PDF file that will print on a PostScript printer using 8.5 x 11
inch size (letter size) paper.
Papers should be written in English. The results presented in the
paper must be original. One author of each accepted paper will be
expected to present the paper at the conference. The proceedings will
be published by the IEEE Computer Society Press. Only online submission
is allowed and the submission procedures will be available via official
website before May 15, 2005. If you have any question, please send an

The International Conference on Grid and Cooperative Computing GCC
obtained great success in the past three years. It has become a major
annual forum in Grid and Cooperative Computing area, with 400-500
registered participants. GCC 2005 will inherit its tradition and further
promote its quality and international impact. It will emphasize the
theory, method, and design of grid and cooperative computing as well as
applications in science, culture, engineering and business. Researchers
and practitioners will get together to present up-to-date achievement in
this international forum.
The conference solicits original high quality papers on the following

The Second IFIP International Conference on
Network and Parallel Computing
November 30-December 3, 2005, Beijing, China

The goal of the IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel
Computing is to establish an international forum for engineers and
scientists to present their original ideas and experiences in all system
fields of network and parallel computing. The first conference was held in
October 18-20, 2004 in Wuhan, China (see the website
http://grid.hust.edu.cn/npc04/). The second conference (NPC 2005) will be
held in November 30-December 3, 2005, Beijing, China. The third conference
(NPC 2006) will be held in Barcelona, Spain.
