Problem with the Ethernet Card!!

Hello,
We are using ethernet express pro100 (newly purchased)card on the Linux server. When we start the server sometimes the card gives a problem, and displays an error message 'Trying to restart the transmitter...'.

Is displays messages like these -

eth0: Transmit timed out: status 0050 command 0090
eth0: Tx timeout fill index 25 scavenge index 9
      Tx queue 00030000 .... [more numbers like these]
      Rx ring 00000001 .... [more numbers like these]
eth0: Trying to restart the transmitter ...

What can be the problem? Is it with the card itself i.e. do we have to get it replaced or... ?

What can be the solution?
