Multicast filter limit and AppleTalk

I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

I'm having the same eth0: Trasmit timed out problems that everyone else
does when AppleTalk
is loaded even when multicast_filter_limit=3

Linux 2.0.34 with eepro100 1.05

Judging from J Krage's comment I'm likely to repeat the problem with the
limit set to zero.

So my question is:   Is there anyone out there who has managed to get
AppleTalk to work
with the eepro100?  (Yes, I know I can run AppleShare over TPC/IP, but I
also need AppleTalk).
