eepro100 frame errors with SMP

These kind of symptoms are normally associated with NWAY negotiation
problems. Early eepro100 cards used the National Semiconductor DP83840 PHY
chip which is notoriously bad at negotiating. I suggest forcing the speed
and duplex setting on both the Linux machine and the router.
