EEPro100 Card hang.... (Wierd)

I've rebooted now, and the card works fine.  Throwing stuff like ttcp at it
doesn't seem to phase it, nor does any regular activity (nfs,ftp,...).  Perhaps 
windows (95, I use it for games :) leaves the card in a bad/unknown/... state?
