I have the 100a board with the i82556 chip. I am using RedHat Linux 5.2 =
and when I view "proc/pci.txt" I see my card as an Intel 82865 (rev 3). =
The HCL for Redhat 5.2 states that the Intel EEPRO 100 is supported at =
level 1. Is this the 100A card or some other card? Is there a way I =
can get the 100A card to work without having to write a driver? =
Currently I get a "delaying initialization eth0" error.
Can you recommend a 10/100 card that works well in Linux?
thanks,
Brian Hogan
