Intel 82558 Manuals?

Hi. 

Is there any *manuals* (not datasheets) of Intel 82558? 

Datasheet ("82558 Fast Ethernet PCI Bus Contoroller with
Integrated PHY") was found at Intel's web site.
But this is not what I want.

Intel customer support says that they does not provide the manuals.
I can't believe it...

Please someone help me...

... Does the author of the "eepro100.c"
write it without referring manuals??
