Intel Pro/100+ Management Adapter

Dear eepro100 people,

I'm new to linux, and I can't get my network card working. I've got a
intel Pro/100+ Management Adapter in my machine with a voodoo3 2000 PCI.
When I boot up, I get a failed message for eth0 which reads "Delaying eth0
initialization". In my conf.modules file it has

alias eth0 eepro100

I would kiss anyone who could help me out with my problem. Thanks,
