hi ya douglas...

i do something silly..... i rerun lilo and reboot....and sometimes
it makes the "card reports blach-blah" messages go away....

i built 8 and antoher 16 identical boxes.....everything identical and some
boxes have this problems...while others did not....all got solved
sooner or later by re-installing ( lilo ) the kernel....
	- i suspect a serious timing issue in the time it waits
	before it starts to post incorrect(?) "card reports" messages...

rh-6.2 + linux-2.2.16+raid + intel d815eeal + quantum 15Gb + p3-750 +256Mb
