What does /proc/pci or running 'lspci' report about the adapter?
I'm specifically interested in why the PCI ID doesn't match
{ "Intel i82562 Pro/100 V", 0,
0x8086, 0x2449, 0xffff, 0, 0x20, eepro100_diag },
The same programs will also give you the I/O address of the card which
you can pass as the -p <io-addr> option.
