Heh, I'm not exactly sure, but there is an IOCTL call in the kernel
that seems like it will work with all interfaces. I bet that the
'ip' command can do it, and maybe ifconfig too. I'd look at their
man pages and/or online docs. You could also ask on the net-dev kernel
list, someone there probably wrote it :)
