[eepro100] is there a working driver for linux alpha

I suspect the kernel.  Your earlier message indicates that the driver
failed to transmit _any_ packets.

The problem could be with the PCI bus-master parameters.
Check the driver detection message to verify that the self-test passed.
The self-test won't verify data transfer, but it will check that the
bus-master arbitration is at least minimally working.

That's one advantage of the eepro100.c and intel-gige.c drivers -- they
were written to work on 64 bit and big-endian machine.  Intel doesn't
have the same motivation for multi-architecture compatibility.
