[eepro100] kernel:eth0: card reports no resources

Hi,

I have two 100Mbps LAN segments connected by a Linux (2.4.2) machine
(Pentium III  @ 500MHz) acting as a router having two eepro100 cards. I
conducted a sort of stress test by pumping tcp packets using ttcp
program from a host on one segment to a host on another segment. The mtu
I set on the end hosts is 80 bytes.  The moment I started the program
the router started giving the error

kernel:eth0: card reports no resources
kernel:eth1: card reports no resources

How do I make sure I don't get the above error ?
