[eepro100] Dell PowerEdge 1550 (Intel Pro/100+ Dual Port)

I have 2 1550s that are doing the same thing: No link
light. They both worked under Windows 2000 with no
problem. If you search google for this problem, there
are others with that chipset that have had similar
issues; the card detects and passes diagnostics, but
refuses to recognize a link. There is never a
solution, just "it works for me" or "your controller
must be bad". The fact that there are 2 different
1550s here and they had both worked fine under Windows
2000 tells me that it is not a defective card this
time. There is probably an issue with the firmware or
perhaps something wrong with WOL or some other feature
that could cause occasional problems.
