I am having problems using the 'epic100' module V1.07, the one distributed with
kernel 2.2.16. Using a SMC EtherPower II NIC I cannot receive any data, while
sending apparently works. When I ping the interface from another computer, the
NIC does not generate any interrupts. Only when I unload the module, the
receiver
interrupt routine is entered once, as the attached debug log shows. I actually
managed to get the NIC responding once, but dont know how I did that and could
not
repeat it, therefore I suspect that it might be an initialization problem.
I am running Linux 2.2.16 on an ASUS K7V-T equipped with an AMD Athlon running
at
600 MHz.
