RTL8139 Question

I have aquired a 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet Card for PCI (32-bit),
however, cannot make out any manufacturer. The chip on the card is
RTL8139A.

Can you tell me if this the same as the RTL8139 - ie is the A
significant.

As I am just getting into linux and networking stuff I am not too sure
what is what.

Any help appreciated.
