rtl8139 timeouts - unsure of cause

We have had some network problems doing a netbench
test with the rtl8139 v1.0.6.  It is difficult to 
tell the exact problem with what I know right now,
but I was hoping you might be able to comment.  Below
is the /var/log/messages.  We are trying to duplicate
the problem now.  We lost complete network connectivity,
but without unloading the rtl8139 kernel module, we
restarted the network successfully.  This was not
an immediate error...more of an error after a few hours
days on an isolate network.
