No MII transcivers found assuming sym.....

SYSTEM REDHAT 5.2
DRIVER VERSION .99b (I think)


I get the message 'No MII transcivers foun assuming sym' during network
initalistaion. The card works but the status light on the switch says it is
running in 10 base mode.


Has anyone else had this problem
