Only 2 of them ?

Hi, I tried to install 3 network borads into PC
( all PCI RealTek RTL8139 ), but system sees only 2 of them
( cat /proc/pci )

I use kernel 2.2.10 on i486 ( environment protection  through hardware
recycling )

Is it general problem that only 2 of such boards are possible on system?
