[realtek] Oversized Ethernet Frame Problem

Hello,

   Perusing the archives of the Realtek email list I see that a number of
people have reported problems similar to what I myself was facing with my
HT-Link HE-100TX, an ethernet card based on the RealTek 8139B.  

   After just a little window of activity the interface would report
receive errors, all something to the effect of "oversized ethernet frame",
and cease to pass on any of the packets it received.

    I thought I would just report to the list that, after trying quite a
few of the things suggested here, I upgraded to the 2.4.0-test6 (Linux)
kernel and was pleased to discover that I now have full use of my Ethernet
card.  YMMV!
