Hi, I'm a recent windows convert, so bear with me.

I've been trying, with much difficulty, to get my 3com network card up =
and running. Finding your drivers was a godsend, but i'm still having =
trouble. :)

First, I ran into the "pci-scan.h and kern_compat.h" problem that the =
other man on the board was having...installing the rpm file fixed =
that...
Then I tried again, using the command given in the source (gcc -DMODULE =
-Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O6 -c 3c59x.c)

Unfortunately, I was given a huuuuuuuuge amount of errors.

Here's a quote from the first few lines...=20
In file included from /usr/include/linux/string.h:37,
from 3c59x.c:93:
/usr/include/asm/string.h:46: parse error before `size_t'
/usr/include/asm/string.h: In function `strncpy':
/usr/include/asm/string.h:47: number of arguments doesn't match =
prototype
/usr/include/linux/string.h:13: prototype declaration
/usr/include/asm/string.h:61: `src' undeclared (first use in this =
function)"

I tried again and re-directed them to a txt file (which is 68k!!). Can =
you give me any help? I can send in the text file if you need it.... =
Thanks,=20

Ed Kennedy
