OK. Is it possible to put a Linux kernel into an EEPROM and boot Linux directly
off the network card, without using tftp and another machine?

I am using several Realtek cards on my LAN, but the box I'm interested in
trying this on is using a 3Com 3C905B. What EEPROM should I get for it (the
biggest one it'll take) and where can I order one? I'd love to have my PC
reboot faster!
