this should be a linux-related mailist...however:
from your report, it seems that installing your net card you (your WinO$) 
screwed up your net config; you should (perhaps once again) go through 
net-setup and re-install services, protocols etc. binding them to that 
netcard; if that doesn't work, take note of missing .vxd's / .dll's and try 
copying them from another same-winO$-version PC (from windows\system\ dir).
Finally, if that fails too, you may need to re-install Win$.
