[realtek] Rx count stays 0

Hi,

I have successfully used a D-Link 530 TX+ card to connect to the
Internet through ADSL in Windows NT. Then I tried the same in Linux
using the rtl8139 driver (a version as of summer of  '99 which shipped
with the card). Yet in Slackware 7.0 (kernel 2.2.13) and
RedHat 6.0 (kernel 2.2.5) the ifconfig reported running Tx count but Rx
stayed 0. I tried all DHCP clients I found (dhcpcd, dhclient, pump
etc.). Tcpdump reports DHCPDISOVER packets being sent but no DHCPOFFER.
The /proc/interrupts count goes up. The card is recognized by the driver
with the same settings as in Windoze NT (IRQ 0xC, IO base 0xe000).  No
firewall rules were active. I tried to compile the latest version of the
driver but there are missing .h files in 2.2.13 source (pci-scan.h,
kern_compat.h). Am I missing something ?
