It seems that Becker has effectively decided not to port his 2.2
drivers forward to 2.4, so other people have done their best to
do the ports and/or write new ones for 2.4
I know that the person doing the RTL and the Tulip driver
for 2.4 is working very hard to keep them up to date and working
smoothly, but it is not a trivial task.
Try the eepro cards from Intel if you want a stable and fast
NIC/driver, it's one of the few that seems to work really well
for me.
