just 4 info:
ac9 patch for 2.4.5 does
a revert to 0.9.15c (the one in knl 2.4.3) from 0.9.17.
from the 2.4.5ac3 changelog:
#Drop back to older 8139too driver from 2.4.3
# Seems the new one causes lockups
