[realtek] Slow transfer speed

I have a network of 2 computer both have Realtek RTL8139 network cards 
installed. These are connected directly by Cat5 cable. The problem is the 
network is really slow in one direction. Say a 1meg transfer would take 
10sec from PC1 to PC2. It would take 10min from PC2 to PC1.

Could somebody please help me!
