I have a no-name 10/100 MBit Ethernet card with the Macronix
98715 Chip on it.
I use it on a TP based network on a 10MBit Hub. It is unable to communicate
with the network, no matter what option I specify when loading it (it is
compiled as a module).
If I set the debug level to 4, I get:
Dec 7 18:12:09 tabaluga kernel: eth1: tulip_open() irq 11.=20
Dec 7 18:12:09 tabaluga kernel: eth1: No media description table, assuming=

driver version is 0.90 10/20/98, kernel is 2.1.131 I exchanged the tulip.c
in the original sources, that were version 0.83 with the one on the website
(http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/tulip.html)
How could I make this card run under Linux?
Nils
