I'm having problems with my Intel EtherExpress Pro/100 Mobile Adapter 32bit
Cardbus.
I'm trying this on a NEC 330T running Linux 2.2.10 and PCMCIA 3.0.13. I'm
also using Donald Becker's Tulip driver version 0.91. (I've also tried 0.91g.)
Things seem to be almost working. When I insert the card, I get the good
two beeps and the interface comes up. I can ping the machine's local IP
address, but I get transmit timeout when I try to talk to any other machines
on the net.
The "link" lights on the PCMCIA to RJ45 connector and the ethernet hub never
light up. Trying the different ifport settings doesn't help any.
Attached are the related log messages and probe output.
Has anyone solved this problem before? Do you think this is a PCMCIA problem
or a tulip driver problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Ken Preslan
