Problems with DS21143

Hello,
I have problems getting my Digital DS21143 to work
(it works under DOS) Here ist the boot message:

PCI latency timer (CFLT) is unreasonably low at 0. Setting to 64
clocks.
eth0: No link beat on the MII interface, status then 7849 now 7849.
