AsanteFAST, Linux, no link

Hi there,

hope this is the right forum for my question.
I freshly installed Linux 2.2.10 on a used PC.
I'm using a AsanteFAST 10/100 PCI card.

When starting up with the tulip module I receive

I tried all possible "options=<1...15" settings in /etc/conf.modules
but without success.

I get a connection with the same cable with a different machine.
The Switch port uses 100MBit/s, Full-Duplex, twisted pair.
"ifconfig" shows proper values.

Can somebody please help me?
