Does tulip-diag reset the adapter when used with -f?

Hi,

my macronix ethernet adapter locks up randomly. Restarting it solves the
problem.

To investigate the problem I wrote a small scripts which runs tulip-diag
every 15 minutes and logs the output. I'm wondering if the diag utility will
reset the adapter if used with the force switch.
