[tulip-bug] Problems with a Linksys PNIC II Rev 37

I have set up a Linksys PNIC II Rev 37 in my computer.  When I ftp to my
computer from another one on the LAN and get a large file, it sends
about the first 7 MB and then my computer freezes.  I have tried a
2.2.16 and a 2.2.17pre6 kernel with the default tulip driver, and I have
also tried the 0.92 driver with both kernels and the computer still
freezes.  Should I try to use a 2.4 kernel?  How can I find out more
about what is causing my computer to freeze?
