Tulip problem

I bought a Linksys LNE100TX with wake-on Lan for my dual processor Redhat
6.1 system, and with some gracious help from Mr. Becker compiled the
driver.....but somethings not right.
When I set up eth0, my system automatically sets up an eth1(the eth1 entry
shows up without an IP address)? I can ping eth0 (big deal), but no other
machines on my network. I know the card works because the box it's on is
also a dual boot and the card works fine under Win98.
