Hmmm.  I unfortunately am running Software RAID for my root partition -
and the latest RAID patches are for 2.2.10 - and I cannot get them to
apply cleanly enough to 2.2.11 for me to trust it.  What I can and will
try is reverting to the 2.2.5 kernel, which was pretty stable AFAIK, and
give that a spin.
