No patches ever find their way to Linus apparently, Donald doesn't like
the new 2.3.x (and 2.2.x) PCI and other kernel APIs, stuff like that. 
End result, nothing happened in the kernel except for hacks that other
people did...  I'm trying to at least merge the work on the 'net, and on
Donald's web sites, into the kernel.
