No (major) problem, but get the latest version from
http://www.scyld.com/network/tulip.html

The version on the install disc can be made to work provided you ignore
the misleading instructions :-(

But go to Donald's site as above. Collect the latest source. Compile
according to his instructions on that site. Post here again if you still
have problems.

I have had it working under all the recent 2.2 kernels under Redhat 6.2
and 7.0, not the the particular distribution is likely to be relevant.

The only problem that I have experienced is a deadlock under extremely
heavy load. This may have been fixed in the latest version, but there is
a patch available if not. 

And don't even think of trying Netgear "technical" "support" ....
