Hello,
i have a Compaq Presario 17XL470. The tulip driver does not work.=20
ifconfig eth0 output:
...
TX packets:0 errors:14 ...
...
Interrupt:9 Base address: 0x1400
output of /proc/interrupts
...
9: 2 XT-PIC i82365, eth0
...
Interrupt 7 is unused
System console:
Jul 5 22:59:42 pcwsr7 kernel: spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.
...
Is the NIC hard wired on IRQ7?
I tried "options tulip irq=3D7" in /etc/modules.conf, but this option =
does not work.
How can i change the interrupt for the tulip driver?
Best regards
Wolfgang Stuehlmeyer
