1996 is stamped on the board, so you're right on the money *8-)

Haha, beats me -- There are also four "SEEQ" NQ80C269633's, but I don't
know if they're what you're after. At least there's four of those.

That's what I thought, but last time I installed a four-port card you
recommended I install the 0.93 version from your site. I did that (which
was technically a downgrade, I believe), and bingo bango bongo, all the
ports magically appeared on the same IRQ, whereas with the newer version
of the driver, they were all different. Same motherboard, BIOS, 4-port
card. Only the driver was replaced.
Should I give the new 0.95 version a go?

I got it from your site quite some time ago now -- months, not years...

This board lists its interfaces bass-ackward. It never occured to me that
that might be an issue.
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:00:BC:11:6B:6F
Interrupt:11 Base address:0x7000
eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:00:BC:11:6B:6E
Interrupt:10 Base address:0x7080
eth2 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:00:BC:11:6B:6D
Interrupt:7 Base address:0x7100
eth3 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:00:BC:11:6B:6C
Interrupt:5 Base address:0x7180
On the machine were all this stuff is working right, the MAC's are listed
in ascending order... Should I try the -DREVERSE_PROBE_ORDER thing?
Thanks, Donald!
