It occurred to me that I should probably qualify my experience on a
Toshiba 4030CDT a bit. This notebook uses a chipset that is listed as
experimental for the pcmcia-cs (apparently much of the documentation
only exists only in Japanese, or some similar problem). So some of
the suspend/resume or initialization behaviour might be attributable
to pcmcia-cs limitations, not 3c575 driver problems. I don't have any
other cards to test though, so I can't say which problem comes from
which source. Anyway, YMMV.
