Problems with 3com 3c905c

I know this is a linux-list, but I have found that booting into windows and 
ruuning the 3com diagnostics is quite useful.  However, if you are totally 
against this, try to get your hands on a dos boot disk, then run the DOS 
diagnostics from there.  Of course, DB may have the answer anyway!
