Problems with GNIC-II module

Greetings,

   Got my GNIC-II installed (with the tail hanging out
of the slot, but Packet Engines assures me that's fine),
the driver seems to compile with no problems, but I get:

[root@asteryx bin]# /sbin/insmod hamachi  
/lib/modules/2.0.36/net/hamachi.o: init_module: Device or resource busy

when I try to insert the module.  Ideas?  Help?
