Hi!
We'd like to connect our internal Linux servers through Gigabit Ethernet,
what card would you recommend? We are looking for the hardware with
the best-developed linux driver.

There are several options of Gigabit Ethernet adapter in your homepage.
and in the Linux kernel configuration help file. They are

1. Packet Engine Hamachi GNIC-II
2. Alteon AceNIC
3. SysKonnect: Various models -LX, -SX, -T cards.

BTW, should the server system have the 64-bit PCI interface to work
correctly (or efficiently?) ?

Lastly, we hope that the gigabit ethernet works under Linux/Alpha (running
under SRM console, if you happen to understand SRM).

Thanks very much

Hugh
