Well, I tried disabling SMP and now it only stops pinging for about 10
seconds but it actually restarts the transmitter (unlike with SMP enabled,
you had to press ctrl-alt-del). But, this was kind of worse because it
would do this "restarting transmitter" about every 1 minute or so, whereas
with SMP enabled, it would do it about every 1.5 to 2 days...
