[eepro100] Need Serious Help w/ eepro100 Driver/card

Ok. Please forgive my ignorance. I see that there is a patch for the
eepro100.c file. Can anyone give me a little help as how to use it? Also,
with the patch, do I no longer need the pci-scan files? A little
description of how to go about this would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
