Thanks for the speedy reply!
I'm only setting the debug level to 6, not passing anything else (except
i did try the append "noapic" trick to lilo.conf but that didn't change
anything..
I've since managed to get an ISA 3c509 to work just fine on the machine
but i'd love to assist in further debugging the problem with this card
(if you're still interested in doing so).
