[eepro100] eepro100 hangs on 10 Mbps LAN

Hello!

I have a lot of problems with new eepro100 chips, used (for example) on
recent Intel motherboards such as Tupelo, Easton and Easton-2. If I use
the default 2.2.19 driver, the network hangs, but the machine itself
survives, so ifup/ifdown helps.

If I use the Scyld driver, the machine locks-up hard, with no resort but
hardware reboot.

I have one such machine available for testing now, so I hope to be able to
give some more usefull debugging info, but I need to be instructed, what
to do.. :)
