Hi!
I got Intel D815EEA Motherboard with ingreated LAN chips 82562ET.
When i installed linux with this motherboard i got problem.
I used the eepro100 driver since it seemed the only one matching.
All seemed alright at first but then i did start getting problem when =
using the network to communication with it.
The network stop answering on connections and ping.
Sometimes i can communicate serveral minutes sometimes just some =
seconds.
When the current connection where disconnected the network started again =
by it self..
Btw.. sometimes the hole machine have stalled so i needed to press reset =
button.
Well to the technical stuff..
Using Slackware 8.0 with kernel 2.4.5.
Error that comes up at the consol:
eepro100: wait_for_cmd_done timeout!
Error from message log:
Oct 19 21:55:50 tor kernel: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
Error from syslog:
Oct 19 21:55:50 tor kernel: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
Thankful for any help i can get on solving this issue.
