Network card DEC PCI Ethernet DC21142

Hello,

my name is Arnold Kriesten and
I am not able to start the network card driver "tolip" correctly.

With the standart installation this error message occurs:

insmod: /lib/modules/2.0.35/net/tlip.o symbol for paramter io is not found.

I tried all paramters and modprobe after this, but it will not help.

Then I have downloaded a newest version of the driver from the NASA, but
with
this version the system dies at boot time.

What I am dowing wrong ?
There are known problems ?
What is to do ?

I am using S.u.S.E. Linux 5.3 with the 2.0.35 kernel.
The PC is a DEC Celebris 6200 with 120MB RAM and 3 GB HD.
