I've got two of those 164UX-s. Both seem to behave the same way.

Thanks. Thats slightly easier than recompiling the kernel :)

But why do the on board tulip and a card with Digital's 21140 chip
work without problems, but  not the Comet? How could I verify if the
SMC1255 has the PCI implementation flaw?
